How does hotcadeals make money?

A the time of writing (and probably for a long while after), we don’t make any money.

As it stands, it’s a business with the intention of first being able to sustain itself and then possibly one day be profitable. It’s very important that we appeal to our community first and then introduce revenue streams later.

In saying that, our initial goal for revenue is to join affiliate programs which allow us to earn a commission each time a member makes a purchase through hotcadeals. This will be at not extra cost to members.

We also intend to work with vendors directly to provide the community the best deals but it will always be the community who decides what is a hot or cold deal. All we’ll ever do is post it.

As we grow I’m sure we’ll explore this space further but our core value will always be community first.
